If Matthew Stafford keeps getting injured...?

If Matthew Stafford is REALLY injury prone and gets hurt, and misses several games again next season, will it be time to get another new quarterback. From the three games he was in this season, he played very well. He went from a quarterback rating of 61 to 90 and was one of the nfc north's best qb ratings. So if he gets injured again, and he probably will, will he be done in detroit or even the nfl?
