Some help on sending my wedding invites.?

This is kinda long, but I want to be detailed. I'm 20 and getting ready to get married. My fiance and I have lived together for approx. 2 years. I used to go to church, but I stopped going. There are a few people from the congregation that I've lost touch with, but would still like to see them there. I'm afraid though, that they'll think badly of me. That I've just stopped talking to them and that they'll disapprove because I've been living with him. So I don't know if I should invite just specific people, or if I should send a general invite. to the whole church so as to avoid being personally offended that those few didn't want to show up.
